Oh I love you guys! Only you can make the best UT maps! (especially UT3 that doesn't have many good ones to start with)

Awesome! The preview screens are already looking so f#@!§%-great! Looks like it's going to be a mix of some oldschool maps and some new. Then only the servers need to host these. ROXXORZ! :D

Hi people!
We will be getting input from professional players on the gameplay, and for general testing. It's still a little while away though.

Nice! One question though which no one can answer yet but I'm going to ask it anyway: how much could CBP3 possibly weigh in size? Are we speaking about several hundreds of megabytes or gigabytes? Because I wonder - what are us poor folks with limited bandwidth (I'm not talking about slow modems, but limited download capacity) to do when this behemoth gets released?
To jump on the CBP3 ownage bandwagon: CBP3 never requires more Vespene Gas.
Comment by IceCreamYou The pack will be split into multiple volumes, probably not released at the same time... but UT3 maps are very large.

I must say that I am thrilled to see both Spoondog and Desperado involved in this. My two favorite mappers ever. :-)
Any chance on a Deep Sprinta remake outside of CBP Spoondog? :-D
I hope that we get to see several CTF maps in this pack with gameplay in mind. The fact that the initial four maps presented are DM maps are worrying me a bit. :-)
I also hope you have the competetive iCTF, CTF and TDM community involved in providing gameplay feedback on all maps during testing. I wrote a alot longer post that never showed up on the guestbook so this is the short version. ;-)

Great news, one of the things I love about UT is how the community manages to bring together incredible talented people and create big mappacks.
Allthough as a iCTF player I hope we will see alot of CTF maps in this pack suitable for both CTF and iCTF play. The fact that the first four maps announced being DM maps can be seen as a bit worrying. :-)
I dont know what kind of beta test team you have but I hope you manage to bring in some competetive players as testers that can provide valuable information on mapflow and gameplay. A Utopia would be to have both CTF, iCTF, TDM players from the competetive scenes. :-)
Also I am thrilled to see two of my favorite mappers Desperado and Spoondog be involved in the same mappack. I thought Spoondog wasnt around in UT3 and this was indeed a pleasant suprise.
Spoondog any chance on a Deep Sprinta remake? :D

When CBP3 does pushups, it doesn't push itself up, it pushes the world down.
Comment by IceCreamYou hehe... CBP3 doesn't breathe, it holds air hostage.
